Taking the bus to Hamot from the Amtrak Station (at Union Station)
There are a lot of buses going by Hamot, and it is a very short walk from the station to the nearest bus stop.
1. Amtrak station entrance is at 125 West 14th. The closest bus stop is at 14th and State, a short block and a half away. So as you come out, turn right on West 14th. Also any local should be able to just point it out to you.
2. Once you are on 14th and State, wait at the stop on the east side, in front of Calamari's (1317 State). You will want to take any bus that says Intermodal Center, because they will be heading directly towards the hospital. The main entrance is on 3rd and State, Anyone on the bus should be able to point out the hospital to you before you get off, so go ahead and ask, riders and drivers are generally friendly about that sort of thing.
