Stroller blues

On the way home from work a lady started a conversation about strollers in the aisles.

LADY: No strollers today! We get a break. Always in the aisles. You know there was a woman who tripped and almost fell over one last week.
ME: Yeah... some of those parents can be inconsiderate.
LADY:  Last week there was a woman who almost fell after she tripped over one.
ME: That's so wrong.
LADY: They have signs saying the strollers should be folded. But the drivers never tell them to fold them.One time when I got off the bus I pointed to the sign and told the driver, "You might as well take that down, it doesn't mean anything."
ME: I've heard two drivers tell me they got into trouble for enforcing that.
LADY:  I went to the EMTA administration. The man listened, then he told me "I'll write that down." I said I don't care about you writing, I want you to do something.
ME: I think the administration doesn't have any sense of what goes on in these buses. They don't drive them and they don't ride them.
LADY: He said they do ride them sometimes.
ME: When?
LADY: He said occasionally, someone will ride them.
ME: Which someone?
LADY: He said some office person will sometimes take a bus.
ME: Well, there you go.
